I attend the dog grooming school at Sunnyside and I absolutely love it. It's very hands on which is the best way for me to learn and we get exposure to so many different types of dogs to work on. Everyone who works there is so nice, helpful and they are great teachers. I felt welcomed right away and I feel like I learned so much right from the beginning of the program. Every day is something new and I get exposure to a bunch of different breeds and personalities of dogs! Hard work but extremely rewarding knowing I'm making dogs feel better! Every day is a little different, the dogs are adorable, and the teachers are so knowledgeable and super encouraging. Safety and the dog's comfort are high priorities at Sunnyside. We do everything we can to make sure everyone's dog is properly cared for and loved! It's so fun getting to know every dog that walks in and giving it a fresh haircut and cute new look. It's also rewarding to hear positive reactions from the puppy parents when they pick up their pets.

With an instructor by your side, you will learn in a salon setting how to groom dogs to breed standards, laying a great foundation for a fun career in pet grooming!

We can be somewhat flexible with the schedule, just ask the owner.
Tuition is $9,000 for a 400 hour (approximately 5 months) course. Your tuition includes, but is not limited to:
A $500 nonrefundable deposit will hold your place in the next available class. Deposit money WILL apply to your tuition once you start the class. Payment of $5,500 gets you started with the remaining balance due 30 days after class starts.
